There was a water leak in the Youth Services area on Monday, January 26th. This wing will be closed until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to our Youth population. The Sydney Wright Room is being used for storage during this time, so it will be unavailable. The Blue Conference Room is also unavailable. The rest of the library is open for normal business. We thank you for your understanding.

Dungeons & Dragons (Jamestown Teen Center): FULL

Thank you for your interest, but this program is full!

Dungeons & Dragons: Step Right Up!

When: Thursday, July 6, at 3:00 PM

Where: Jamestown Teen Center

We welcome back Game Master, Brandon Morgan of Midsummer Games, to lead the campaign in this Summer Reading version of the popular Dungeons & Dragons. Brandon is a professional Dungeon Master with over 30 hours of experience, and creator of all original program content. Midsummer Games has been providing Youth RPG Programs since 2019, serving libraries across Rhode Island.

At the annual Fondant Palace Renaissance Faire, a shady carnival barker draws guests to a ramshackle Dungeon Attraction. “Face the challenges within and claim the fabulous prize,” but is this game stacked against your favor?

No experience necessary. Dice and pre-generated characters provided! Players may alternatively bring their own Level-1 character using rules from the Player's Handbook. Experience immersive tactical combat with miniatures and terrain. (For students in grades 5 –12; registration required as program is limited to 6 participants)

The statewide Rhode Island Summer Reading Program is supported by the RI Office of Library and Information Services, with funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services. Special thanks to the Friends of the Jamestown Library.
