From Rhode Island comes a story that evokes the Vietnam War era, illuminates the parallels between then and now, and reveals the healing power of community.
Come touch a truck (or squad car or ambulance) during this fun program! Kids have the opportunity to go inside a police car and sound the siren, get put on a stretcher and loaded in the back of an ambulance and climb a fire truck ladder!
Registration is not required.

First meeting of the Gould Island Restoration Advisory Board. Discussion will center on the best way to keep the public informed regarding ongoing environmental remediation work on the State-owned portion of Gould Island and to seek input regarding the project from members of the RAB. This group is comprised of the US Army Corp of Engineer project manager, Credere (contractor) project manager, RI Department of Environmental Management, and 28 local residence and stakeholder groups who were selected as members of the RAB.
