Pumpkin Decorating Contest (All-Ages)
Thanks to the generosity of Hodgkiss Farm, our pumpkin decorating contest has returned! Celebrate the spooky season with your friends at JPL!
How to participate:
1. Register below to reserve your free pumpkin
2. Visit the library to pickup your pumpkin on Friday, October 13, from 9 AM to 5 PM
3. Take it home and create your masterpiece using your favorite art supples; no carved pumpkins, please!
4. Return your pumpkin before judging begins on Monday, October 23.
5. All patrons are invited to vote for their favorite pumpkin (1 vote per day) from Monday, October 23 through Friday, October 27
6. Winners will be announced on Halloween, but participants can take their pumpkins home when voting ends on the 27th
Pumpkins are limited; participants are allowed to provide their own pumpkin as long as it is of similar size and adhere to the above guidelines. Please contact Colleen LeBeau, Youth Services Librarian, if you would like to participate by supplying your own pumpkin.
