There was a water leak in the Youth Services area on Monday, January 26th. This wing will be closed until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to our Youth population. The Sydney Wright Room is being used for storage during this time, so it will be unavailable. The rest of the library is open for normal business. We thank you for your understanding.

Evolution of the Urban Forest

Evolution of the Urban Forest - led by Chris Fletcher, a managing arborist for Bartlett Tree Services. He also is a caretaker of Juniper Hill Cemetery, one of three landmark graveyards in Rhode Island. Fletcher will discuss the history and importance of forestation to the environment.

Refreshments will be served. The garden club is a volunteer civic organization that beautifies public space in town, including the fire museum, Veterans Memorial Square, Town Hall and the welcome signs at the off-ramps.
