Join Rhode Island-based author and illustrator Carissa Leveille Nylin for a live reading of her recently launched picture book Ella, Bernard, and the Marvelous Mountains. The book is described as "a whimsical adventure perfect for elementary and middle-grade classrooms." Literary devices like onomatopoeia, alliteration, metaphor, simile, hyperbole, and personification are woven seamlessly into a story about imagination, music, and the magic of childhood. Program concludes with a craft.
Recommended for children ages 5 to 10; caregiver must be present.
