The Jamestown Town Council has appointed the 250th Commission to coordinate events related to the Declaration of Independence in 1776 and to the Revolutionary War that resulted. The Commission has spent a few months getting organized, and now want's to hear from the community, both individuals and organized groups, about how Jamestown should commemorate this multi-year anniversary. Anyone interested should come with ideas and suggestions. If you or your organization is doing something to celebrate, come and let us know. If you want to help with event planning or historical research, let us know.
