There was a water leak in the Youth Services area on Monday, January 26th. This wing will be closed until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to our Youth population. The Sydney Wright Room is being used for storage during this time, so it will be unavailable. The rest of the library is open for normal business. We thank you for your understanding.

Grades 1-2 Book Club

For March's Book Club, we will be reading The Hundred Dresses by Eleanor Estes.

"At the heart of the story is Wanda Petronski, a Polish girl in a Connecticut school who is ridiculed by her classmates for wearing the same faded blue dress every day. Wanda claims she has one hundred dresses at home, but everyone knows she doesn’t and bullies her mercilessly. The class feels terrible when Wanda is pulled out of the school, but by that time it’s too late for apologies."-summary
